We are financial advisors, risk managers, model builders, researchers, project developers, micro-level planners and long-term strategists. BETA Inside is based in Vienna and our work can be called upon from anywhere where it might be of help, and where it is needed.
Overall one could say, we love to make our contribution to sensible, valuable results, and to hopefully achieving the aspired goal with thoughtful work.
And in detail, at the cell level, one could put it like this – we have loved finance since we first came across it.
Our client and target groups are the financial sector, the public sector, institutions, non-financial firms (like corporates, SMEs, or startups), interest groups, stakeholders, and private organisations. And, of course, anyone else who would like to work with us and whom we can serve.
BETA Inside´s expertise is based on sound methodical and analytical foundations, on years of experience in central bank banking supervision (onsite, IRB, market risk models, securitization, etc.), on experience in risk management consulting and also project and finance consulting. Moreover, it draws on academic research, applied research, policy-oriented and general market research, we have undertaken, and furthermore on insights taken from the implementation of innovative development projects, incl. startups. These components all together play an important role in our “knowledge data base”.
Much time and work we have spent on credit risk, on macroeconomic interdependency modeling, and more recently on climate-related economic and financial consequence capturing.
Academic research-wise the emphasis has been and is on econometrics, quantitative finance, and financial economics.
Our corporate ventures started meanwhile fourteen years ago. Experience in the industry / academia covers more than twenty-five years per senior. And each day brings new challenges, new opportunities, and new insights. So, where do we stand? Probably each day at the beginning – but hopefully endowed with an increasing, nurtured knowledge basis…
